Balendin Stole is Here!

Good Morning...

I thought you might like to be the first to see our newest pattern: The Balendin Stole!

Here it is:

It's beautiful, isn't it??

The pattern was written by Corrina Ferguson and it's the first in a series of several to be released! Corrina has a fantastic eye for lace pieces! When we sent her a skein of our Lace-a-licious! Yarn and asked her to put her creative mind to work, we were just AMAZED with what she came up with! This stole is really gorgeous and it's the perfect size when completed (about 22" x 72" after blocking). Better yet, it uses only 1 skein (and we know how you LOVE 1 skein projects!). Color shown is: Missouri.

Also, I can't thank enough our AWESOME test knitter, Pat Sullivan. She test knits most of our pieces now and not only is she a super-knitter, she's super-fast! She's just a GEM to work with and she certainly is essential part of the J. Knits Team! THANKS PAT!!

You know, that brings me to an important point: It really is baffling how many people it takes to make a yarn company work. Not only does it take in-house people (people who work directly in the shop), but it also takes A LOT of behind-the-scenes people! These are people who don't always get a lot of credit but who certainly make us tick. So without further adue, special thanks go to (in no particular order): Alison, Amy, Cirilia, Corrina, Gail, Sarah, Susan (one of my BEST friends...), Andra, Andy, Karen, Mark, Ron, Steve, Valerie, Catherine, Irene, Pat, Kathy, Stephanie.

There are so many more. If I missed you, I sincerely apologize. This is just a snippet of an extremely LONG list...

From the master dyer to the people who come in and help clean up the place, you are so important (no crucial!!) to our success and I thank you and appreciate you more than you know...

Have Fun & Knit Safely!
