HAPPY NEW YEAR and Happy Holidays! I hope 2009 is fruitful and peaceful for all of us...
Mid-December we released a new yarn called Stunning. My staff and I toyed around with a name for about a week and after tossing around just about every name in the book (literally...maybe even a few 4 letter ones crept in there I got so name-frustrated after a while!!), Stunning was just the perfect name that fit the yarn completely...
After consulting a few of my obsessed sock-knitting friends and listening to their suggestions, I find this yarn to be completely PERFECT for sock, lace and other lightweight projects.
Here it is:

It's a 50/50 Merino/Tencel blend and it has the most beautiful sheen I have ever seen. It is simply LOVELY!
It weighs in at about 3oz which gives about 448 yards to the skein which is perfect for socks and other projects.
I LOVE THIS YARN and you will too!!
It's shown here in the colorway Maryland...
I've been sock knitting a new project (due for publish & purchase in May of this year) using the colorway Philadelphia (our new colorway for Spring 2009 released in October) using this yarn. Sam I Am taught me to knit socks on 1 circular needle from the toe up and I am having fun with it for sure! Here it is:
I'll keep you posted on my progress for sure and for more fun stuff, please visit us on Ravelry! Click HERE to link to our group...
As always,
Have Fun & Knit Safely!
